Old Hulmeians Annual Dinner 2017 Announced

We’re delighted to announce that this year’s Annual Dinner will be held at:

Davyhulme Park Golf Club
Gleneagles Road
Manchester M41 8SA

on Saturday 8th April, 2017.

Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons it is not possible to hold the dinner at the School, so we have opted to hold the dinner in the splendid art deco clubhouse.

I am delighted that Lin Leadbetter has agreed to be or guest speaker.

Lin was a pupil at WHGS from 1983 to 1990.He subsequently studied Astrophysics at Durham University graduating in 1994, just! Following a period in the military he managed to sign for a professional rugby team in Australia where he played for 1 year before returning to the UK and literally wrestling himself into a job on the trading floor of the futures market. Awaking one day with a change of heart he has subsequently retrained as a doctor practicing as both a GP and A&E doctor in Greater Manchester.

In addition, the Principal of WHGS Peter Mulholland has agreed to speak.

we are hoping that a number of teaching staff (both past and present) will be in attendance at the dinner, so you have an opportunity to renew old acquaintances.

Please join us for a complimentary glass of cava and canapes from 6:30 pm

Time: Dinner is 7:00 pm for 7:30 pm

Bar: A cash bar will be available from 6:00 pm and a selection of wines will be available for purchase from the bar.

Dress Code: Lounge suites/smart.
