The school are keen to involve Old Hulmeians with our concerts. Can you play an instrument? Then get involved with the Concert Band. Can you sing? We have a long running Choral Society that meets on Tuesday evenings in the run up to concerts.

The OHA are organising a number of talks to the current Sixth Form at WHGS to bring in some current Old Hulmeians to share their life and career experiences. Did you go to university or straight into a job? How did you get into your current career? What tips would you give?

The AGM is fast approaching and the new committee will be voted in during the meeting. There are currently a few vacancies for general committee members as well as a new proposed role of Communication and Marketing Officer. If you are interested in meeting involved please contact us the usual way or come along to the AGM meeting on Wednesday 12 September 2012.
The OHA is currently looking for members to help digitalise and organise the extensive archives at WHGS. These date right back to when WHGS first opened including:
- Infectious Disease Book
- Beatings Book
- Early School Accounts
- Newspaper cuttings scrap books (including the advert for the first entrance exam)
- Mr “Toddy” Haynes photo archive
- Plus, boxes and boxes and boxes of photos – CCF, Sports, Hardraw etc.

Your hard work will enable the OHA to further develop it Members Area pages to allow OHA Members across the world to quickly search through the archives, share memories and explore the fascinating history of William Hulme.
